Q. What is your experience as a makeup artist ?

A. I have been doing varieties of makeup for friends and relatives since years. It is through their constant accolades and encouragement that I have recently decided to pursue this professionally.

​

 

Q. What are the different Styles of Makeup that you can do ?

​

A. I can do the following styles:

​

• Middle Eastern/Pakistani – A chiselled look with dramatic/bold cat eye makeup, bright lips, use of kohl and liners.

•  Indian/Traditional – Use of gold tones, highlighters and bronzers. Kohl lined eyes, red lips, well defined brows.

• Natural, Soft & Romantic- Use of soft natural colours to mimic the natural beauty of the face, while avoiding harsh lining of the eye, chiselled contouring and extreme use of bronzers or shimmers.

• Dramatic/Bold – A perfect evening look for special occasions with dark smoked out or glittery/ metallic eyes and subtle lips, to capture all the attention.

• Goth/Emo – The eye makeup is typically the focus where use of dark colours and graphic designs are essential along with thick lining of the eye.

• Vintage and Retro – Classic winged eyes, bright lips, cat eye.

 

 

Q. What styles do you specialize in ?

 

A. I have abundant experience in all kinds of makeup and have a fair bit of practice in all of them. Styles categorized as Middle Eastern, Soft & Romantic, and Dramatic Makeup are the ones I have extensively used and specialize in.

Q. What are the various Makeup brands that you use ?

​

A. Over the past couple of years, I have intensively used and experimented with a variety of brands, both known and unknown, and have been led to strongly believe in the core functionality of the product over its brand name. I have chosen quality products with the best end results, keeping in mind the Indian skin type, whilst not compromising with the quality. Products that I have chosen are ones that I have used extensively and adjudge to be the best in the market. In case you have certain preferences, feel free to discuss them with me, and I shall try my best to accommodate them.

 

The brands that I use include, but are not limited to:

NYC, Nyx, Rimmel, L.A. Girl, Urban Decay, Morphe, Loreal, Revlon, Maybelline, Lakmé, Milani, MAC, Elf, Cover Girl, Beauty Treats, Essence, Bourjois, Coastal Scents

Q. What are the different packages that are available and how do I pick the most suitable one ?

 

A. After extensive market research, I found that the makeup requirements can be broadly divided into three categories: Bridal, Premium and Basic Makeup.

​

• Bridal Makeup: All styles of Makeup - Traditional, Western, Middle Eastern.

• Premium Makeup: Suitable for Engagement, Pre - wedding events, Special Occasions like Anniversaries, Romantic Outings, Photoshoot etc.

• Basic Makeup: Suitable for any type of parties or gatherings (day or night).

 

 

Q. How much time do you take for different types of Makeup ?

​

A. I take roughly 3-4 hours for Bridal, 2-3 hours for Premium, and 1-1.5 hours for Basic Makeup. All of this includes Makeup, Hair and/or Draping.

​

 

Q. Can I pick any hairstyle ?

​

A. Yes, you can pick any hairstyle of your liking, or you can always consult with me, if you’re not sure about what you want.

Q. What sort of preparations should I make beforehand ?

​

A. For best results, you should consider getting rid of unwanted facial hair (by Bleaching/Threading / Waxing, or any other method that you are comfortable with) before the application of makeup, and also shampooing your hair on the same day.

For hygiene purposes, and also to protect your outfit during the application of makeup, carrying your personal bathrobe/towel is advisable.

Q. Where is the location of your Venue and do you travel to client venue ?

​

A. Park Street area.

​

Yes, I travel to client venue when I do Bridal or when a booking is made for multiple clients (Clubbed Bookings) for Premium / Regular.

​

 

Q. Do you provide Trials? If yes, then what are the charges ?

​
